Meet Jordan
As a current graduate student studying neuropsychology diagnostics and treatments, Jordan shows a passion for improving behavioral healthcare. As an undergraduate, she completed triple Bachelor's Degrees in Neuropsychology, Biology, and Psychology at NC State. To broaden her perspectives, she also took minors in Genetics, Essentials of Business, and Health, Medicine, & Human Values.

She has been deeply involved in research labs in genetics, psychology, mental health, and philosophy. These experiences reinforced her dedication to the field to improve behavioral health diagnostics and treatments while advocating for affected communities.

She has been an opinion writer since 2022 for Technician, using her voice to challenge norms, drive change, and support marginalized communities. Her articles have led to creation of accessibility tools, sensory maps and spaces, and creative outlets in STEM programs.
​
She has also been working in clinical behavioral healthcare since 2022 at the Autism Society of NC. This hands-on experience has provided insights into challenges of the field. As Chair of the Quality Improvement Committee, she has analyzed data trends to bring about positive changes within the organization and the lives it touches.
